This piece was made in response to the end times, which is written about in the book of Revelations. I also worked with the scripture Psalms 119:11 in mind, saying, "Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You." I wanted to show this using blurred lines to evoke a sense of covering or hiding. To display the immense amount of turmoil that would undergo the earth and how much more difficult it will be to follow Christ during those times. Through a multiplicity of lines going various directions, I am able to make the statement of how the ways of this world will completely defy the ways of God. Also, how one would have to turn away from the ways of the world in order to follow God.
